The strips may be read visually, requiring no additional laboratory equipment for testing. Urine test strips are used to monitor urine specimens for various biochemicals and their connection to certain diseases; Diabetes mellitus, diarrhea, kidney stones, tumors, glomerulonephritis, physical trauma, Bacterial infections, glomerulonephritis bacterial toxins, chemical poisons, urinary tract infection, hemolytic anemia, liver diseases, diabetes insipidus, excessive water intake, diuretic use or chronic renal failure, cirrhosis, hepatitis, obstruction of bile duct.

Note: The directions must be followed exactly. Accurate timing is essential to provide optimal results. The reagent strips must be kept in the bottle with the cap tightly closed to maintain reagent reactivity. To obtain optimal results, it is necessary to use fresh, well-mixed, uncentrifuged urine.
